It is richly filled and nuanced. Each author has their own style and approach. I just finished Jacob. I love the different focuses that Nephi and Jacob add. It's a wonderful book, every time. Thinking of it as 1 draft that was translated in a few short months makes it all the more a miracle. 😀Travis Standleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03399840604237466434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6254505210275106680.post-12318515361894777202016-01-07T08:49:01.339-08:002016-01-07T08:49:01.339-08:00I have not kept track, but I suspect that I have r...I have not kept track, but I suspect that I have revised this article in one way or another two dozen times. I added a paragraph and a few words here and there today, and I have changed words, redone sentences, and corrected mistakes several times since originally posting it. The more I think about Joseph's work in producing the original draft, compared to my feeble efforts, even with all the educational opportunities I've had and the writing practice I've accumulated over a lifetime, I stand in awe.Dan Bachmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06189616862099368268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6254505210275106680.post-30058477348471446952016-01-07T08:10:56.726-08:002016-01-07T08:10:56.726-08:00You make some very good points. As a retire RN Professor and having written many papers and some research papers I can honestly say I have never written anything as clean as the original manuscript of the book of Mormon. Even with typing it and having auto correct for spelling and grammar. Impossible to do. "A Marvelous Work and Wonder" it truly is.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13692385869255396163noreply@blogger.com
